Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Cream butter and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until mixed thoroughly. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in flour sifted with baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, combine 4 teaspoons sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Mix well. Spoon one-third of batter into greased bundt pan. Sprinkle with three-fourths of pecan mixture. Spoon in remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining pecan mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
