Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 to 5 bananas, mashed
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 oz. sour cream
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Cream margarine and sugar together.
  • Add mashed bananas to creamed mixture.
  • Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the beaten eggs and flour mixture to the first mixture; mix well.
  • Fold in the 6 ounces of sour cream and nuts.
  • Bake in two greased 8 1/2 x 5-inch loaf pans for one hour at 300°.
