Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Beat the first 3 ingredients until frothy. Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredient mixture to wet mixture in parts. Refrigerate overnight.
- Roll dough into small balls. Roll balls into a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
- Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
