Ingredients
- 2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. milk
- 5 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Method
- Cut meat into serving sizes.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Dip meat into 1/4 cup milk, then coat with flour, salt and pepper mixture.
- Brown meat on both sides in oil.
- Remove to shallow baking dish.
- Blend 2 tablespoons flour into oil in skillet.
- Stir in milk and soup.
- Pour this mixture over meat in baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 hours in 350° oven.
