Ingredients
- 6 to 8 pork chops
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1 can water
- 1 medium onion
Method
- Salt and pepper pork chops.
- Melt shortening and brown chops well on both sides.
- Mix together soups and water.
- Pour over chops.
- Add sliced onion on top.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender.
