Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Hakurei Turnips
  • 3 ounces, weight Chevre-style Goat Cheese
  • 2 ounces, weight Smoked Salmon
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 4 dashes Honey
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Method

  • Remove the greens from the turnips, wash them and slice the turnips thinly.
  • Place them in a food processor and mince them finely.
  • Add the goat cheese and puree the mixture until it is creamy and the bits of turnip are not noticeable.
  • Place the goat cheese mixture into a small bowl or plastic container and mix in the smoked salmon, broken into 1-inch pieces or shreds.
  • Put some of the salad on a slice of bread, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
