Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce (I prefer whole berry cranberry sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Method

  • Place dry onion soup mix in bottom of crock pot.
  • Put roast into crock pot.
  • Top roast with cranberry jelly.
  • Cover, cook on low for ~8 hours.
  • Remove roast to rest.
  • Combine flour & butter with a small amount of gravy. Add back to crock pot & whisk until combined.
  • Serve roast with gravy while hot.
