Ingredients

  • 1 cup grits
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup margarine

Method

  • Mix the grits salt and sugar together
  • Add water and margarine bring to a boil cook covered stirring occasionally till most of the liquid is absorbed keep covered remove from heat for 10 minutes
  • Take the five eggs beat them add margarine to the pan let melt coverd add the eggs let them spread across the pan evenly cover
  • When the eggs start to have bubbles uncover and stir breaking them up
  • When done about 5 minutes total serve with grits
