Ingredients

  • 1 block Firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1/2 tsp Miso (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Water

Method

  • Once you have drained the tofu, mash it with your hands.
  • Cook the tofu till the moisture evaporates in a frying pan coated very lightly with oil.
  • Stir fry until it has a soboro-like crumbly texture.
  • Mix the ingredients together and then microwave them for 30 seconds.
  • Add this into the frying pan coating the tofu.
  • Stir fry on low to medium heat until the moisture evaporates.
  • Once you're stir fried it until it's crumbled, it's ready!
  • Mix it with rice and then top with a beaten egg.
  • You can store leftovers in the freezer by separating them into 1 meal portions.
