Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Dark corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cup Semisweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 1/2 cup Chopped pecans

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Spray a 13x9" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour and sugar.
  • Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Press into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla.
  • Stir in chocolate and pecans.
  • Pour over crust.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Store in the refrigerator.
