Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fettuccine, uncooked
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
  • 1-1/2 lb. uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined Safeway 1 lb For $8.99 thru 02/09
  • 6 oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped

Method

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, melt 2 Tbsp.
  • butter in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp; cook and stir 3 min.
  • or until shrimp turn pink.
  • Remove shrimp from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Add next 4 ingredients and remaining butter to skillet; cook on low heat 5 min.
  • or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly with whisk.
  • Stir in shrimp.
  • Drain pasta; place in large bowl.
  • Add sauce; mix lightly.
