Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) can corn
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. hot mashed potatoes

Method

  • Crumble ground beef and onion, microwave on High 4 to 6 minutes or until meat loses its pink color.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Spread evenly in a casserole dish.
  • Spread corn on top of meat mixture.
  • Spoon mounds of potatoes over corn.
  • Microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until casserole is hot.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Microwave 2 to 3 1/2 minutes until cheese melts, rotating dish after half of cooking time.
  • Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
  • Yields 4 to 6 servings.
  • Cooking time: 17 minutes.
