Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 tsp. light syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Combine the egg whites, sugar, salt, water and corn syrup in the top of double boiler.
  • Place over boiling water and continue beating 7 minutes or until frosting thickens and holds its shape. Remove the pan from boiling water and continue beating until thick. Frosts 24 cupcakes or 2 large 9-inch cakes.
