Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can peas, drained
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. crisp bacon bits
Method
- Prepare salad in large bowl.
- Add ingredients, one at a time as given, each in a separate layer.
- Do not toss.
- Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
- Will keep one or two days.
