Ingredients
- 1 pkg. 2 layer size chocolate cake mix
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- dash of salt
- 1 c. nuts
Method
- Mix cake using package directions.
- Fill paper bake cups in muffin tin 2/3 full.
- Blend cream cheese with sugar; beat egg and salt.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces.
- Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful cheese mixture into each cupcake.
- Bake as directed on box for cupcakes.
- May be frosted.
- Serves 30.
