Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. 2 layer size chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Mix cake using package directions.
  • Fill paper bake cups in muffin tin 2/3 full.
  • Blend cream cheese with sugar; beat egg and salt.
  • Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces.
  • Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful cheese mixture into each cupcake.
  • Bake as directed on box for cupcakes.
  • May be frosted.
  • Serves 30.
