Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. butter (6 sticks)
- 8 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 onion, finely minced
- 6 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce (white wine)
- 3 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
- (1/2 teaspoon dry thyme)
Method
- Heat butter in heavy medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add in all other ingredients.
- (Can be prepared 4 hrs ahead, rewarm before serving.)
- Spoon into small bowls and serve.
- Makes about 3 1/2 c..
