Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Butter, softened
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Tsp. Almond Extract
- 1 3/4 Cups Flour
- 2 Tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/4 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Milk
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds, chopped
Method
- Cream sugar and butter; beat in egg and extract.
- Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
- Divide dough into fourths; roll into 12x3 inch rectangles 5 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
- Brush with milk; sprinkle with almonds.
