Ingredients
- 4 large onions
- 1/2 c. butter (1/4 and 1/4 divided)
- 1 1/2 c. butter flavored crackers
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- salt
Method
- Brown onions after slicing in 1/4 cup butter.
- In a 9 x 13-inch casserole, press crackers to make crust.
- Place onions on top; sprinkle cheese on top.
- Pour milk and eggs over top.
- Also the other 1/4 cup butter.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
