Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, chopped
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 2 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 c. green onions, sliced
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 pint Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. each salt, pepper and sugar
  • 1 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Method

  • Put lettuce on bottom of oblong dish.
  • Follow this with the water chestnuts, the celery, green onions and peas.
  • Mix the mayonnaise with the salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Spread this on top of pea layer, making sure top and edges are sealed with this mixture. Put cheeses on top.
