Ingredients

  • 4 c. cooked chicken
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs (whole)
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • parsley or dried parsley

Method

  • Cut chicken into fairly large pieces.
  • Starting with chicken, layer chicken, celery and bread crumbs in a buttered casserole. Beat eggs and add to the broth with salt and pour over the mixture.
  • Use a fork to get broth through the mixture.
  • Put a small amount of bread crumbs on top, parsley and butter (cut up in small pieces).
  • Bake in 350°
  • oven for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean
  • when pushed into mixture.
