- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1/3 c. green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- a little black pepper
- 1 dish pie crust shell
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In medium skillet fry sausage until cooked.
- Remove sausage from the skillet.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons of fat and saute onion and green pepper in the fat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Combine sausage, cheese, flour, green pepper, onion and parsley.
- Spread in pie crust.
- Mix milk and eggs and pour over meat in shell.
- Bake on cookie sheet 35 to 40 minutes or until filling sets.
