Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. hot or mild sausage
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 12 slices white bread, no crust
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Method

  • Cook sausage, drain and crumble.
  • Mix with cream cheese until spreadable.
  • Cut each slice of bread in half (24 rectangles). Spread sausage-cheese mixture on each rectangle.
  • Roll bread up and wrap one piece bacon around each.
  • Secure with wooden pick. Bake 35 minutes at 350° on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Makes 24 snacks.
