Ingredients
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese (may use 4 oz. Cheddar and 4 oz. Swiss or Monterey Jack or Mozzarella)
- 1 (3 oz.) can real bacon bits
- 1 (2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds, toast them
- 2 chopped green onions
- mayonnaise to bind (1/4 to 1/2 c.)
- 1 pkg. Lender's bagelettes, split
Method
- Mix night before or a few hours early to blend flavors. Spread on bagelettes and broil until brown and bubbly.
- If you like the flavor, add a little garlic.
