- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice mix
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Method
- Cook box of rice according to directions and set aside.
- Cook sausage and drain.
- Add the rest of the ingredients including the rice.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in a 2-quart casserole dish. Serves 6 to 8.
