Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- salt, black pepper and red pepper
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 3 c. water
- 1 small green pepper
Method
- Cook sausage until browned; remove drippings.
- Combine ground beef, onions, green onions and bell pepper.
- Cook until browned. Add tomatoes, rice, water, salt, black pepper and red pepper. Cook until rice is tender.
