Ingredients
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can sauerkraut, drain and save juice
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Method
- Boil sugar, 1/2 cup kraut juice and vinegar.
- Boil to a rolling boil.
- Pour over vegetables and let set for at least 12 hours.
