Ingredients
- 1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
- 1 c. diced green pepper
- 1 c. diced celery
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Drain sauerkraut, rinse with cold water and drain thoroughly. Combine sauerkraut and green pepper, celery and onion in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Pour over vegetables and mix.
- Cover and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
- Great on hot dogs!
