Ingredients
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. diced tomatoes
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. cubed ham
Method
- Combine water, vegetables and seasoning.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- Do not drain.
- Make white sauce of flour, butter and milk.
- Add Cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
- Add ham and undrained vegetables.
- Heat, but do not boil.
