Ingredients

  • 4 c. tomatoes, peeled, cored, chopped (2 1/2 lbs)
  • 2 c. green peppers, seeded, chopped (1 lb.)
  • 1 c. hot peppers, seeded, chopped (1/2 lb.)
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan.
  • Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • Pour hot into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch head space.
  • Adjust lids. Process 30 minutes in boiling water canner.
  • Makes about 6 half pints.
