Ingredients
- 1 c. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Method
- Mix thoroughly the first 3 ingredients.
- Sift together the flour and salt and stir in.
- Mix in the chopped nuts.
- Chill dough.
- Roll in 1-inch balls.
- Place on ungreased pan (cookies do not spread).
- Bake until set, but not brown.
- While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
- Cool.
- Roll in sugar again.
- Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes about 4 dozen 1-inch cookies.
