Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 3 oranges
- 1 head lettuce
- 2 oz. chopped walnuts
- French dressing
- salt and pepper
Method
- Wash mushrooms.
- Lightly dry and finely slice.
- Squeeze juice of an orange over them.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and leave while you peel 2 oranges.
- Remove all orange pits and slice oranges thinly.
- Lay crisp lettuce leaves in bottom of dish.
- Put a layer of oranges and a layer of mushrooms, more oranges and a sprinkle of mushrooms on top.
- Pour over a French dressing and sprinkle with very fine chopped walnuts.
