Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. water or milk
Method
- Cut
- shortening
- into dry ingredients. Stir in lightly the beaten egg and milk.
- Pat into a ball.
- On floured board, roll out
- to 1/4 to
- 1/8-inch
- thick.
- Cut
- into
- 1/2-inch squares. Drop into boiling
- broth.
- Cover and cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes.
