Ingredients
- 6 hard-cooked eggs
- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. cheese, grated
- 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Cut eggs in desired shapes and arrange around edge of greased baking dish.
- Peel and slice tomatoes and place in center of baking dish.
- Make a sauce of butter, flour, salt and milk; add cheese.
- Stir over low heat until smooth and blended.
- Pour over tomatoes and eggs.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake in 375° oven for 20 minutes.
