Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. rigatoni
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas

Method

  • Prepare rigatoni according to package directions. Melt margarine.
  • Add flour and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Do not brown.
  • Stir in milk, salt, pepper and cheese.
  • Cook until smooth and thickened.
  • Pour sauce over hot rigatoni and mix gently.
  • Sprinkle peas on top and place in oven at 350° for 15 minutes.
