Ingredients
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. rice
- 5 c. water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Method
- Put in large pot evaporated milk, rice and water.
- Cook on medium heat until rice is soft and thickness you like.
- About 30 minutes after it starts to boil, pour into bowl and mix in sugar and vanilla.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
- Refrigerate.
