Ingredients
- 1 c. River rice
- 1/2 gal. plus 2 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 pt. medium cream
- pinch of salt
- cinnamon
Method
- Pour milk in pan, add salt and rice (washed).
- Bring to boil, lower heat and cook for 2 hours, stirring often.
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Add some cooked rice to egg mixture.
- Mix well. Pour into remainder of rice, mix well and add medium cream.
- Put in oblong pan, top with cinnamon.
