Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. regular marshmallows or 40 miniature marshmallows
  • 6 c. Rice Krispies

Method

  • Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies; stir until well coated.
  • Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, coated with cooking spray.
  • Cut into squares when cool.
  • Yields twenty-four 2 x 2-inch treats.
