Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. oats
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 c. cut rhubarb
- nutmeg or cinnamon
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
Method
- Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon.
- Spread 1/2 of mixture on bottom of 12 x 9-inch cake pan.
- Save rest for top. Place cut rhubarb into pan.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. Mix flour with sugar.
- Add boiling water.
- Cook until thick.
- Pour over other ingredients.
- Sprinkle crumb mixture over rhubarb. Cook at 350° until bubbly, 35 to 40 minutes.
