Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Eye Of The Round Roast
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 envelope Onion Soup Mix, 2 Ounce Packet
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 package Kaiser Rolls, 8 Count
  • 1 cup Catsup
  • 2 teaspoons Water
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Tabasco Sauce

Method

  • Place roast in crockpot.
  • Stir together all of the remaining roast ingredients and pour over roast.
  • Cook on low overnight or for 8 hours.
  • The next morning stir and spoon sauce over roast again and simmer on low or warm setting until noon, or if you prefer until evening.
  • Slice thin and serve over buns.
  • FOR THE SAUCE
  • Mix all sauce ingredients in small saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Sauce stores up to 1 month in fridge.
  • Makes 1 cup
