Ingredients
- 3/4 to 1 lb. deli corned beef
- 1 lb. can sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 c. Thousand Island salad dressing
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 4 c. grated natural Swiss cheese
- 4 to 5 c. diced dark rye bread
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Method
- Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish and layer each ingredients in order given, mixing the salad dressing and mayonnaise together before spreading over sauerkraut.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is toasty.
- Serves 6 to 8.
