Ingredients
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
- 1/3 c. white syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Turn heat low. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Immediately add chocolate bits, Karo, butter and vanilla.
- Stir until chocolate melts and fudge is smooth and creamy. Stir in nuts and mix well.
- Pour in buttered pan and chill.
- Cut into squares.
