Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
  • 2 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. red food coloring
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Method

  • Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on package for 2 (9-inch) round cake layers, adding chocolate and food coloring with water, eggs and oil; cool completely.
  • Beat cream cheese and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in pecans.
  • Fill and frost cake layers.
