Ingredients
- 5 c. beans
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 chopped bell pepper
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 2 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3 tsp. garlic powder
- approximately 2 lb. smoked sausage or Polish sausage
Method
- Cook beans and spices slowly until beans are done. Add sausage when beans are cooked.
- Let beans and sausage come to a boil, then let simmer. Serve over rice.
