- 1 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
- 2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. hot milk
- 1 c. hot chicken stock
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Method
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Place in cold water until ready to use.
- Saute beef, pork sausage, onion and garlic; drain off fat.
- Add olive oil, tomato puree, tomato paste, seasoning salt, pepper, parsley, basil and oregano.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
