Ingredients
- 1 c. seedless raisins
- 2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 well beaten egg yolks
Method
- Simmer first 4 ingredients for 10 minutes, then add sugar to which cornstarch has been added.
- Cook until clear.
- Remove from fire and add egg yolks.
- Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
