Ingredients
- 2 c. raisins
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 3/4 c. oatmeal
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cook
- raisins
- in
- water
- until
- the water is absorbed. Cream butter
- and
- sugar;
- add oatmeal, soda and flour.
- Mix. Put half of the
- batter
- in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes
- at 350°.
- Combine
- egg
- yolks, sour cream, sugar and cornstarch
- and mix
- well. Stir
- and
- boil until thick.
- Add raisins and vanilla.
- Pour
- over baked crust and add the rest of the crumbs on top.
- Bake 30 minutes longer at 350°.
