Ingredients
- 1 lb. raisins or 15 oz.
- 2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. margarine
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 heaping tsp. soda
- salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Method
- Boil raisins and water 10 minutes.
- Drain and cool; add enough water to make 2 cups liquid.
- Add sugar, margarine, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and add raisins last.
- Bake in greased 9 x 13 pan in slow oven about 40 to 45 minutes.
