Ingredients

  • 1 can biscuits
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • oil

Method

  • Separate biscuits.
  • Press into flat round circles.
  • Cut a hole in center.
  • Heat oil in small kettle.
  • Drop biscuits, 2 at a time, into hot oil, turning once.
  • Fry to golden brown.
  • Remove and place on paper towel.
  • As soon as they drain, combine sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  • Roll doughnuts in this while they are still warm.
  • Continue to do so with doughnut holes and remaining doughnuts.
  • May use sugar and cinnamon to your taste.
  • You may also dip in melted butter before frying.
