Ingredients

  • 12 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 pork loin chops, 1 inch thick (about 3 pounds total)
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (21 ounce) container apple pie filling
  • 12 cup water

Method

  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  • Dip the pork chops in the flour mixture, coating completely.
  • In a large deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chops and brown for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  • Stir in the pie filling and water.
  • Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until no pink remains in the chops.
  • Serve with the sauce spooned over the top.
