Ingredients

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans vegetarian baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses or brown sugar (more if you prefer)
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans barbecue beans

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Saute onion in margarine until transparent, about 4 minutes.
  • Combine all ingredients and place in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  • Bake, uncovered, 45 to 60 minutes. Yield:
